Make a Bug Out of Junk with Peg Davies

he City of Vincent is hosting a hands-on kids workshops all about repurposing materials in a creative way!
Please note parents/guardians must accompany and supervise their children during this workshop. Parents are also encouraged to join in to assist their children during the workshop and have fun coming up with creative designs to make your own “junk bug”.
Participants will explore waste items that may typically be thrown away, and come up with creative designs to repurpose materials to make a “Junk Bug” to take home, This hands-on workshop allows children to investigate different material properties and how they can be pieced together without any need for glue or sticky tape! The materials are sourced from and supplied by local creative reuse business, ReMida.
