Perth is a global biodiversity hotspot but many people never appreciate the incredible plants and animals that live in their local bushland reserve. Join Steve on a bushwalk as he reveals fascinating plants and wildlife that you may never have noticed before and why it’s so important to protect them. Steve has degrees in Biology/Geography and Terrestrial Ecology (Hons.). He has decades of experience managing bushland for local governments, has worked in specialist nurseries and as a Dieback Interpreter. For ten years, he travelled WA with Beyond Gardens, a team of garden sustainability advisors. Steve is the Program Manager for Perth NRM’s “ReWild Perth”.
