Bokashi bucket workshop
May 6 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
FreeIn this Bokashi Bucket Workshop hosted by the City of Canning, Peg Davies will demonstrate an easy way to process all your food scraps – cooked and raw – veggies, cheese or meat. Get great compost for your garden and reduce the waste that you send to landfill. A bokashi bucket may be the answer, particularly when you don’t have room outside for compost bins or worm farms.
The City of Canning offers residents a discount on the purchase of a bokashi bucket and bokashi mix. The discounted cost of a bokashi bucket is $40 and a bag of bokashi mix is $5. These can be purchased from the Waste Transfer Station at 81 Ranford Road, Canning Vale.
