Branching Out: The right tree in the right spot!

July 6 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Unlock the secrets to planting trees strategically for lasting growth and benefit with Sabrina Hahn!

We know trees are beneficial for a number of reasons but how can we choose the right one for the right spot? Join Sabrina Hahn, the host of ABC radio’s gardening program Roots and Shoot, who will discuss factors to consider when selecting a tree such as mature size, native or exotic, evergreen or deciduous, benefits for wildlife and maintenance requirements.

You will leave feeling confident to select a suitable tree which provides the benefits you want, and understanding why having more greenery is good for you, the community and the environment!

All participants who attend this workshop have a chance to win a gardening goody bag with a value of $100! The winner will be selected at the end of the workshop.

Please book in as spaces are limited. For all inquiries contact the Sustainable Environment Officer on (08) 9267 9282.
