Local governments are uniquely placed to drive circular outcomes and engage with like-minded businesses — through the contracts they sign, the waste they manage, and the communities they serve. But turning circular economy principles into practical action takes more than good intentions.

The Circular Futures Forum is a full-day seminar bringing together sustainability, procurement, waste, and finance officers from local governments across Western Australia to explore what the circular economy really looks like in practice — and how to make it work in your organisation. It’s also relevant to business operators looking to improve their sustainability credentials, reduce waste and maximise their profits.

Across the day you’ll hear from leading practitioners, policymakers, and circular businesses, take part in an interactive workshop, and connect with others working toward the same goals.

You’ll leave with:

Ticket prices vary for officers and elected members as follows –

• SEREG local governments (Armadale, Gosnells, Serpentine-Jarrahdale) – No charge.
• Local governments subscribed to the Switch Your Thinking program during 2025/26 are eligible for discounted tickets ($120) applicable to the following LGs: Belmont, Canning, Cambridge, Melville, Kalamunda, South Perth, Victoria Park, Vincent, Stirling, Swan and Subiaco.
• Full price ($275) is applicable to attendees from non-SYT affiliated local governments or other organisations.

Ticket price includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

Tax receipts will be issued for tickets purchased via Eventbrite. If you would prefer providing a purchase order and registering directly through Switch Your Thinking, please email workshops@switchyourthinking.com to arrange this.
