City of Gosnells Community Waste Drop-off Day

WHEN: Saturday, 2 May 2026 | 8 am – 3 pm
WHERE: City of Gosnells Operations Centre
COST: Free
The City will host a Community Waste Drop‑Off Day on 2 May, giving residents the opportunity to dispose of selected waste items safely and responsibly.
This event does not replace the City’s annual bulk verge collection, and commercial waste will not be accepted.
Household Hazardous Waste
Many common household products—such as cleaning agents, automotive fluids, and pesticides—can be harmful if not disposed of correctly. These items cannot go in your regular rubbish bin and, in some cases, it is illegal to do so due to the risk of environmental contamination.
The drop‑off day provides residents with a safe way to dispose of household hazardous waste so it can be managed with minimal environmental impact.
Other Accepted Items
The City will also accept items that are often difficult to dispose of, including:
- Bulk cardboard
- Polystyrene
- E‑waste
- Tyres (limits apply)
Charity partners will be on-site to collect good‑quality clothing, helping divert reusable items from landfill.
Proof of Residency
As this event is for City of Gosnells residents only, please bring one of the following:
- Current Driver’s Licence or Photo Card
- Rates notice
- Utility bill showing your name and address
