Get ready for one of Perth’s most loved community festivals! The Hyde Park Festival returns in 2026 for two huge days of family fun, food, music and local culture. This event is delivered by North Perth Rotary and proudly supported by the City of Vincent.

1. Waste Education Stall
   Drop in to chat with our friendly waste educators and try your hand at the new digital waste sorting game! Vincent residents can also collect their compostable FOGO Caddy liner packs (proof of residence required).
2. ‘The Mending Machine’ – Pedal. Stitch. Waste Less.
   Come and hop on a bike to power a sewing machine with your own two feet (available between 12-4pm)! The Mending Machine is a playful, pedal-powered repair hub turning WasteSorted’s message into real-time action , focusing on waste avoidance and reuse to keep textiles out of landfill. In a world of fast fashion, this interactive activation makes mending visible, hands-on and empowering. Pedal to stitch, repair a well-loved garment, or simply have a go and learn how small actions can create big environmental change. When we choose to repair, reuse and rethink, we’re not just fixing clothes , we’re reshaping our relationship with waste.
