Nature know-how: wildlife and wetlands

February 16, 2023 @ 5:30 am - 6:30 pm

Free

Come and Visit Beechboro Public Library located in the City of Swan and learn about urban wetlands, their inhabitants and how we can help protect these important ecosystems.

Our urban wetlands are some of the most important habitats in the world. Surrounded by houses and human activities, these wetlands provide a refuge for a diverse range of wildlife, including birds, frogs, reptiles, and mammals. Learn about the animals that depend on these areas and the ways humans are impacting on them. Find out how you can help protect your local wetlands and look after the unique wildlife that live there.

Please note that this City of Swan event is a program for adults and young people aged 6 and over and is an informative presentation. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event.

To register your attendance please follow the following link. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
