Patti the Pig is here to teach your kids all about waste in this free educational show!
This unique show creates fun and memorable experiences to children, teaching them about looking after the environment with an emphasis on recycling and waste reduction.
Through story, song and dance, these interactive performances and activities will teach children about our bin system, encouraging them to learn and explore the role they play in managing waste. The show features the nursery rhyme “Gary and Yomely”, which identifies the green and yellow bin in a fun, memorable way.
Featuring original nursery rhymes, children learn about using recycled rubbish for craft, what to do with used batteries, and the importance of diverting waste from landfill.
Learning together helps you all play your part in waste management at home and involving the kids can make it fun and encourage positive action in the future.
This event is free but bookings are essential as spaces are limited.
Held at the Forrestfield Library inside the Hawaiian’s Forrestfield Shopping Centre.
