Come along to an interactive workshop where we not only talk rubbish but also physically sort out commonly used items.
About the Workshop:
The workshop will cover what happens to each residential bin and where the rubbish goes. (Tailored to your local council area.)
This 1.5-hour session includes hands-on sorting of everyday waste items, packaging and the biggest contaminators like nappies and soft plastic.
We will cover product stewardship schemes such as CDS and NTCRS and other local options like TerraCycle and Donut Waste.
Our emphasis will be on Avoid, Reduce, Reuse and then know exactly how to Recycle as a last resource.
