Sew-In Session: Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale

Join the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale for their next Sew-In Day, a friendly community session where sewing enthusiasts of all skill levels can come together, enjoy a cuppa, get creative and give repurposed materials a new purpose. During this hands-on session, we’ll be creating drawstring bags for pyjamas and toiletries, which will be donated to Crisis Care through the Byford Uniting Church to support people in need within our community.

By taking part, you’ll help reuse and upcycle textiles, develop your sewing skills and contribute to a practical project with a positive community impact. Whether you’re an experienced sewer or simply interested in getting involved, the team at the Shire would love to have you join in.
