Small Property Landcare Tour

Join us for a fun morning stroll around a rural property in the Shire to learn about landcare and sustainable property management. Landcare expert Chris Ferreira will discuss everything from weed control, revegetation, managing horses and other stock, soil and pasture improvement, reducing fire risk and more!

Dieback expert Joe Grehan will show you how to protect your garden and bushland from Dieback and what to do if it’s already there.

Participants will be advised of the property location prior to the event.

Please bring along soil and weed samples for identification and wear appropriate footwear and clothing for walking around a rural property (and bring an umbrella or raincoat in case it rains!). Morning tea will be provided.
