The wonderful world of worms (ages 5-12)

May 13, 2023 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

The Wonderful World of Worms workshop hosted by the City of Canning, will teach children about the amazing compost worms you can use to make beautiful soil for the garden. They will see some beautiful wriggly worms and learn about how they need to be kept, and why they are so good at eating our scraps.

Children will also make an easy paper pot and take home a plant complete with compost soil rich in worm castings (poo!)

The event is free, but bookings are essential. Children aged under 12 years must be accompanied by an adult. Adults accompanying children do not need a ticket.

Please remember to cancel your booking if you are unable to attend once you have booked, so the ticket can be released for someone else to enjoy.
