Learn all about composting methods and the value of compost in your garden with Robyn Brown from ‘Waste is my Resource’. Food scraps and garden prunings are far too valuable for your soil to throw them in your landfill bin.
Robyn will demonstrate the set-up of each method. Social enterprises available to people who aren’t able to compost will also be discussed.
The City of Canning offers residents a discount on the purchase of compost bins. The discounted cost of a 220L compost bin is $25. These can be purchased from the Waste Transfer Station at 81 Ranford Road, Canning Vale.
