Thinking Green: trees for wildlife and trees for us at Ellenbrook Library

April 20 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Join Ecologists Mike and Mandy Bamford in exploring the vital connection between trees, wildlife and our wellbeing!

Please note that this program is suitable for adults and young people aged 12 and over, and is a presentation without hands-on activities. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.

Ecologists Mike and Mandy Bamford will take you on an armchair tour of the weird and wonderful creatures which inhabit our city and give you the skills to create a wildlife haven in your backyard or balcony.

You will also discuss how having wildlife in your garden is good for animals and why it is healthy for people too. Mandy and Mike will explore the latest research in this area and chat about why you might want to incorporate more trees into your patch for your wellbeing.

Thinking Green is a series of free programs hosted across the City’s libraries and community venues! To find out more and see the full list of workshops and talks, visit the City of Swan Libraries website.

Please book in as spaces are limited. For program inquiries contact the Sustainable Environment Officer on (08) 9267 9282. For booking inquiries contact Ellenbrook Community Library on (08) 9207 8787.
