E-Waste and Recycling Drop Off Days

City of Melville residents can drop off select waste items on scheduled drop off days. Please ensure you bring proof of residence.

WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT:

• Aerosol cans (spray cans)
• Bulky cardboard
• E-Waste: computers, printers, TV’s, mobile phones, smoke detectors and other electrical devices
• Gas Bottles / Cylinders 
• Large Car / Boat Batteries 
• Paint 
• Polystyrene 
• Waste Motor Oil (max 5 Litres)
• X-Rays

WE WILL NOT ACCEPT:

• General waste
• Tyres
• Recycling from commercial properties
• Household Hazardous Waste items including:
  • acids and alkalis
  • engine coolants
  • fire extinguishers
  • flares
  • household cleaners
  • pesticides/herbicides
  • pool chemicals
  • unknown chemicals
