Get down and dirty with Muddy Buddies 2023!
The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale have partnered up with Nature Play WA to bring you Muddy Buddies; the ultimate messy mud play event held at Jarrahdale Oval.
After a successfully-muddy event in 2021, we have decided to go BIGGER and BETTER this year. That’s right – you’ll need to bring your sense of adventure and get ready to get messy!
We’re talking TWO (2) huge mud pits where kids (and kids-at-heart) can jump in, roll around, and create their very own mud masterpieces. And don’t worry parents, we’ve got you covered with a designated cleaning area so you can clean up your muddy little ones before they hop back into the car (look out for the big water trucks!).
We’ll also have a variety of nature play and educational activities on offer to help connect with the natural world and local community. Your little ones can build cubbies, climb and test their balance, learn some tips for a sustainable future, meet the Jarrahdale Fire Brigade and much more.
Join in the face-muddying fun with our friends from Educated By Nature, create with the wonderful Eco Faeries or try your hand at our interactive Animal Detective game using Nature Play WA’s free Play Trails app!
Feeling hungry after all that muddy play? We will have some local food and coffee vans, plus the Serpentine Jarrahdale Lions Club will be running a sausage sizzle.
Jarrahdale Oval is a beautiful spot for a picnic, so don’t forget to bring along a rug and snacks and enjoy a beautiful (muddy) day out with your family – seeing all the beauty that Jarrahdale has to offer!
