Please note that this is a program for adults and young people aged 12 and over and is a presentation. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
Simon Cherriman and Danielle from The Re-Cyc-Ology Project specialise in constructing and installing long-lasting, feral bee-resistant nest-boxes from recycled materials and showing you how to do the same.
Explore the story of tree hollows, habitat loss and how nest-boxes can help wildlife in southwestern Australia in an informative presentation, then see how nest boxes can be made from recycled materials via a demonstration.
This workshop has been organised in partnership with Gidgegannup Men’s Shed and they will be providing a free BBQ prior to the workshop to which all attendees are invited.
This workshop is most suitable for adults and young people aged 12 and over, but supervised children are welcome to attend.
