Thinking Green: In fashion: conscious consumerism at Beechboro Library
Please note that this program is suitable for ages 12+, and is a hands-on workshop. Photographs and videos may be taken of the event. Please book one ticket for each person attending.
Clothing is worn by everyone, every day. So we all have the power to make a positive impact with the choices we make around our clothing.
In Fashion: Conscious Consumerism is a fun, interactive workshop focused on teaching you how to become a more conscious consumer when it comes to fashion and your wardrobe.
Shannon and Claudi from Fibre Economy will give you the rundown on the textile waste crisis and teach you ways of reducing your wardrobe footprint.
You’ll also receive a guide featuring actionable steps you can take at home to put what you learn at the workshop into action!
Thinking Green is a series of free programs hosted across the City’s libraries and community venues! To find out more and see the full list of workshops and talks, visit the City of Swan Libraries website.
