Do you want to embrace the season of gift giving but don’t want to generate all the waste associated? Come along to this fun workshop to find out how to create great waste-free gifts.
Many of us love to give gifts to our friends and loved ones over this festive season but find it hard to ignore the amount of waste that is produced during this time. Wrapping paper, ribbons and tape, plastic gift wrap, the list goes on. We should be able to celebrate this joyous time without creating more rubbish for the landfill. That is why the City of Kalamunda are hosting this wonderful workshop to help you gift without the waste!
Join waste extraordinaire Peg Davies for a fun and informative ‘Lessen with Peg’ on how to have a waste-free festive season.
In this workshop, Peg will guide us through making some great gifts to take home, including preserved lemons and a bowl of succulents.
Please bring along a small bowl or pot for your succulents – re-use something from home or get one from an OpShop.
