Perth is part of a crucially important biodiversity hotspot which means there are many unique species found no where else in the world, but sadly have experienced considerable habitat loss. This degradation puts further stress on existing species and without proper intervention, will lead to further species decline. We can all help reduce these pressures by creating habitats in our gardens for native species, which will help to create corridors between nature reserves.
A $10 entry fee is charged with all funds directed to local urban greening initiatives via Perth NRM’s ReWild Perth program. ReWild Perth is program dedicated to restoring natural ecosystems and helping residents of the Greater Perth Area bring nature home!
Our Gardens with Josh Byrne is supported by the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions and the River Guardians program.
It is hosted in conjunction with Josh Byrne & Associates, Perth NRM, and the City of Canning.
